“What Can I Say?” Voice Education

The Xfinity Voice Education project, lasting four months, aimed to boost customer engagement and retention by enhancing how first-time customers learn about voice commands. As Design Lead, I conducted research and competitive analysis, leading to a pivot from creating a full new experience to improving the existing "What Can I Say?" feature.
I refined both the content strategy and visual design of the WCIS experience, resulting in a 20% to 70% increase in promoted voice commands. The insights gained from this project informed future product initiatives, and my visual treatment was adopted across multiple Xfinity interfaces.

The Xfinity Hands-Free Remote project aimed to expand the TV from an entertainment hub to home control and beyond, allowing users to manage devices hands-free through voice commands. As the Lead Designer for this project, I played a central role in executing and guiding the design process.
The biggest achievement was improving the clarity of the setup journey through a redesigned Getting Started Guide (GSG) and resolving setup confusion with the FTUE video, which received positive feedback from users.
PhillyCHI Rebranding & Design Leadership

The PhillyCHI rebranding project aimed to refresh the organization’s visual identity for its 15th anniversary. As the 2020 Chair and Creative Director, I led the initiative to redefine the brand strategy, update the mission statement, and establish core values. Working with a team of designers, we developed a bold and flexible visual system inspired by Philadelphia’s neighborhoods and murals.
Key achievements included aligning the brand with PhillyCHI’s values—Inclusion, Connection, Relevance, and Compassion—while creating a visual identity that reflects the organization’s mission and future growth.

The inaugural season of 'Thursday Night Football' earns top honors for Outstanding Interactive Experience - Event Coverage during the 2023 Emmy Awards.

Customers can customize the recommendations using voice prompts like “just the ones that are free to me” or by using their remote to select filters on the screen, watch trailers, view additional information (e.g genre, ratings), and initiate playback.

A passion project that I did base on a real business in Philadelphia called Lokal Hotel. Like any other hotel, Lokal Hotel provides many amenities of a modern luxury hotel without a front desk or onsite staff. So the challenge here is, from check-in to check-out, consider how technologies can provide concierge-level services that are traditionally handled by hotel staff.
